When one thinks of the great chroniclers of the 20c and all of it's dystopian horrors, Camus, Orwell, Huxley and Kafka come easily to mind. So should J.G. Ballard - one of the most influential writers of our time, and one of the most profound explorers of the darker side of the human condition.
